As a construction consultancy company PPS not only advises on kit home options, but endeavors to introduce new technologies and ideas to Fiji which will streamline the process, keep cost to a minimum and take the home building industry to a new and higher level of quality and stability. We do this by seeking out like-minded industry leaders who are constantly challenging the norms and partnering with them to include their innovations in our kit home projects.
One such example is the work we are doing with Pacific Footings who design and produce a steel footings foundation system as an alternative to the mass concrete footing and timber pole method. The system makes for a much stronger holding that can be used on any terrain, but more importantly is quick to erect meaning that superior foundations for your house can be laid in days rather than weeks – saving not only time but money!
When considering your foundation options we always recommend a Geotechnical survey so you know exactly what your new house will be sitting on, and we can be assured that the system is designed specifically for your site, it's unique conditions and the type of house you're building. No one wants to see their house sinking after heavy rains, or cracks appearing after a cyclone.
A geotechnical survey will give you peace of mind and we have teamed with the crew at PACau Fiji Ltd who will expertly drill and analyse your site looking for any danger zones and recommending the best position for your new home.
We can then arrange for your foundation system to be designed in New Zealand along with the house plans - a one stop shop!
PPS is pleased to work in conjunction with QUE Construction Company on Viti Levu. Builder and Project Manager Shameel Reddy is a Licensed Building Practitioner and spent 9 years in New Zealand learning his craft and becoming familiar with NZ building codes and standards. He also has extensive knowledge of the building products and technologies that go into our kit homes, so is the perfect partner of PPS to construct your new home when it arrives. With bases in Suva and Nadi, QUE Construction has Viti Levu covered, and they guarantee their work
All of our kit homes are engineered up to Cat 5 cyclone certification and come with a full set of working drawings to satisfy your local council requirements.
We can organise geotechnical surveys for just about anywhere in Fiji as well as a host of other consultation services to get your new kit home project off the ground – literally!
PPS – your problem is our solution.
