PPS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TRENZ HOMES
Pacific Property Solutions is very proud to work in a partnership with TRENZ Homes NZ. We are currently working on a number of projects to bring their bespoke design and build kit homes to the “Friendly North” of Fiji!
A lot has been achieved since TRENZ first introduced themselves to our part of the world, and here they take a reflective look back on the tremendous work that has been done in Fiji to date and their ongoing commitment to the region.
TRENZ is committed to a long-term and ongoing relationship between the Fiji Government and the Fijian people with TRENZ Homes becoming a preferred supply partner to deliver TRENZ Homes throughout Fiji. By working alongside its Fijian friends the company will bring the benefits of the NZ building industry experience to understand and meet the needs and requirements of the Fiji Government, in their efforts to provide healthy, robust and affordable housing for its people through various projects and policies.
TRENZ understand that the Government has many projects to rehouse their people following Cyclone Winston (February 20th 2016) in addition to a general desire to continue with their Rural Housing Programme to upgrade much of the existing housing stock to an acceptable level, which offers their people safe, sanitary, well-designed housing to improve their lifestyle. Included in these packages will be well designed, NZ made Septic drainage systems which allow the treated water to be used to irrigate crops etc and Solar Hot Water systems which allow the people to tap into this natural abundant resource to reduce the costs of running their new homes.
The company’s vision is that through this ongoing relationship, they will fundamentally change the Fijian housing landscape through innovative designs using reliable and quality New Zealand materials, products and services. The team believes that with their strong market presence in New Zealand and throughout the South Pacific, they are well positioned to make these projects a reality.
In 2014, TRENZ Homes successfully designed and supplied materials for the High Tech Youth Computer Studio in Lami in addition to organising the construction of the project with Anthony Doncaster of Oceania Construction Ltd.
It was a very rewarding project to be involved with, and TRENZ even gave a generous donation to the studio afterwards. TRENZ Homes South Pacific Licensee Phil Evans can be seen pictured with GM Robert Ward presenting a donation of $1,000 from TRENZ Homes to Rex Horoi, Executive Director of FSPI and Jasper Singh, Lami Town Administrator, for the High Tech Youth Computer Studio in Lami.
Here’s a more recent, and equally worthwhile project the team are involved with. TRENZ Homes is currently working with FHA to provide new housing to their clients throughout Suva and Nadi along with many other developers in most locations around FIJI.
Some private development ideas have also been well received include these beauties:

Designs are wonderful and are limited only by the imagination, but in order for the dream to become a liveable reality, you have to have the right contacts, knowledge and materials. Fortunately for you, TRENZ has a philosophy of only dealing with reputable (preferably New Zealand or Australian based) suppliers who can warrant their products in your environment.
Suppliers that meet their high level of product and service expectations are Bunnings Trade (NZ and Australia’s largest independent building hardware merchant/timber supplier), Trade Innovations, Cupolex, Dincel, GF8/K3T and KS Holdings (incorporating The Roofing Store suppliers of prefinished long-run roofing products, SteelHaus lightweight steel framing, Kirin roof panels and Archtech cladding products).
TRENZ Homes is committed to having local personnel on the ground in FIJI on an ongoing basis which is backed up with regular visits from their NZ based team as and when required. The team at PPS always look forward to these visits and will continue to grow the partnership throughout the coming year to offer you more exciting design concept and push the boundaries on how we think about building in paradise!
